Dr. Leonid ShunyakovDr. Leonid Shunyakov will be presenting “Genomics Impacting Personalized Therapy in Oncology” at the State of Science: A Summer of Progress–Updates from ASCO 2018 on Saturday, June 30th in Kansas City. See Schedule Here.

Dr. Leonid completed his internal medicine residency and his medical oncology/hematology fellowship at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. He also completed an Internship at Urals Medical Academy, Yekaterinburg, Russia. Dr. Leo has been voted the number one hematologist/oncologist in Bolivar, Missouri for the last 10 years by 417 Magazine.

He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, standing 10/10 on the most recent board certifications in 2012, the American Board of Medical Oncology and the American Board of Hematology. Dr. Leo’s practices include the diagnosis, treatment and management of various cancers including lymphomas, leukemia, breast, colon, lung, melanoma and all other cancers including skin cancer and benign and malignant blood disorders.

Dr. Leo is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Missouri State Medical Association and the American Medical Association.
