Bolivar — The Tremain Family Foundation has provided the lead gift for a hospitality house for Citizens Memorial Healthcare.
The Tremain Family Hospitality House will be an expanded service for patients receiving treatment and care at the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center at CMH.
“The Tremain family has a long history of supporting CMH and the CMH Foundation,” says Donald Babb, chief executive officer/executive director of CMH. “We are so appreciative of the Tremain family for generously providing the lead gift that will help so many families that sometimes travel long distances to receive their cancer treatments at the Cancer Center.”
The hospitality house is former office space. It will be renovated and expanded to include six private suites, a kitchen, TV lounge, hearth room, dining room, laundry facilities, resource library with computer access, outdoor courtyard and staff office. Each suite will have handicapped-accessible bathrooms and a refreshment station.
The hospitality house is expected to cost $500,000 and will be completed next summer.
