Dr. Jocelyn Torres De Yao received her medical degree from the University of the Philippines – Manila. She completed an internal medicine residency at Akron General Medical Center/Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy, and rotated at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Department of Leukemia. She completed a hematology/medical oncology fellowship at Allegheny Health Network/Temple University School of Medicine affiliated with Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. Dr. De Yao is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Medical Oncology, Hematology & Internal Medicine.
Dr. De Yao specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of all cancer types, blood disorders, leukemias and lymphomas. Some of her specialty focuses and practices include breast, lymphoma and myeloma cancers, bone marrow aspiration and biopsy and intrathecal chemotherapy.
Dr. De Yao is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, American Society for Bone Marrow and Transplantation, American College of Physicians, International Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Sigma Biological Sciences Honor Society.
